Monterey Comic Con

The 2018 event was Monterey Comic Con's third-annual convention. Monterey Comic Con was an affordable, family friendly event focused on all things pop culture, comic books, video games, movies, and cosplay.

The convention was my first freelance project and taught me a lot about freelance work. I designed a type-based logo for the convention choosing a cool blue palette to reflect the costal location of Monterey. Next, I created a poster design for the event utilizing the convention's silhouette hero and showcasing a famous Monterey landmark, the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
