Neverbored Magazine

Neverbored is an independent magazine that showcases artists, musicians, skateboarders, and events around Monterey County.

I helped design and layout a 3-page editorial article for an issue of the magazine. The topic of the article was anarchy. Because the article credited French poet, Pierre-Joseph Proudhon as the first anarchist, I took that into consideration for the visual elements. I created the typographic title in Adobe Illustrator, typeset the copy and pull quotes in InDesign, and added the rough paper texture in Photoshop. In addition to the article design, I created a digital and print advertisement for one of the issue sponsors.

I later teamed up with the magazine to pitch a series of horror movie nights in collaboration with a local museum for Halloween. After getting approval from the museum’s event coordinator, I created a flyer for the series of events.
